Red Stag Timber are driven by innovation and sustainability. If you have ever visited the Redwoods in Rotorua, you have been to the boundary of Red Stag Timber.  Appreciating this serenity, it is easy to see the lengths you’d go to take care of this pristine environment, especially when it is seen as the forefront to New Zealand’s wood industry.

When Red Stag Timber began consulting with Rocktec around investment of one of our ‘Warrior Wheel Wash’ products our team set to task qualifying remedies. We investigated both permanent or semi-permanent usage, expected traffic volumes, water reticulation and filtration requirements .  Red Stag were already two steps ahead as Technical Treatment Coordinator Andrew Lawes explains “We were adding to our treatment shed capacity, where we had decided to futureproof our footprint and completely eliminate the tracking of material particles between the inside and outside” Rocktec helped us on our journey by listening and coming up with the concept of modifying one of their wheel wash designs to create a bespoke solution.

“We put this in to manage our environmental issues with keeping our treatment chemicals inside the plant” As you can see Fork truck and light vehicles that travel inside to out and vis-versa are now completely washed down and flushed to protect and enhance our environmental commitments. “The Rocktec team were brilliant to deal with and I’d highly recommend to any business looking to pro-actively address the protection of site materials to contact them”.
